VariousSingularity on February 4Well, what's goin on man? Awful nice of you to drop my page. Thought I'd do the same.
I have indeed read King's Midnight Shift, but I've only read one of his Bachman books (Thinner). There's a cheap movie based on Thinner and it's pretty creepy, though the book is far better.
Personally, I think Dean Koontz is just as much a hack as Patterson. But...here it comes...Koontz has a couple of decent books to his name. Granted, I can't remember them, except one, but he's a slightly better writer than Patterson.
Midnight is the Koontz book. And there's one whose title deals with the moon...Winter Moon, maybe...I read both of those when I was ten or so, then again when I was 17. They're decent. Nothing on the level of King, but decent...
I'm glad someone actually sees that both Nicholson AND Ledger have each brought good things to the Joker. I figure in a year or two, when all the 'Heath's dead' crap goes away, people will look back on his performance and see it differently. Don't mean to sound like an ass, but everyone wants to praise the dead man.
This is getting pretty long...I best shuffle elsewhere...
