I think introductions are in order. My name is Jared, and I am 23. Not going to tell me your name? Fine. I guess I'll just have to carry the conversation.
Well, what themes can you expect to see in my writings? Honestly, your guess is as good as mine. Half of my stories come from dreams, the other half are inspired by music, other writings, and random events throughout the day. Usually, though, they will be at least a little comical.
Why do I write?
Well, first of all, I write to make myself feel better. I'm not complaining, but my life has not always been the happiest one. When I write about those darker points, it helps me put them in perspective, and reminds me that there are still bright points to smile about.
I also write to get certain story lines and characters out of my head. I have always had trouble getting my mind to shut down, especially at night, and if I don't get those ideas out, they just keep jumping around until I want to stab myself with a fork.
Finally, sometimes I just write to make people laugh, even if it is just me laughing at myself. I have always enjoyed making people laugh. It's my way of trying to help those around me.
I welcome comments on any and all of my work, whether they are of a technical nature or just a random "I thnk ur wrk sux!" I always appreciate an outside perspective, and I am really good at ignoring stupid comments, so by all means, type away. I am also happy to read over anything in particular that you want help with, so just drop a line.
Finally, I really hope you enjoy my stuff. I'm not planning on changing the world, but if anything I do makes you smile or laugh or chuckle, please let me know. It will make my day.
