I write because, like so many people, I'd need a straight jacket if I didn't. I don't much care if anyone else likes what I do, although that would be nice. Writing, to me, lets me release parts of my soul, (to prevent them from beating my heart against my chest cavity). If you like it, gee thanks. If not, well then, perhaps my genre is not for you. Oh yeah, and there is no excuse for not writing. If you have an idea, do it, no matter how supid it seems. Chances are, someone else had the same idea, but you beat them to it.
