Well, I am still at college (just thought a little background would be a good starting place) and, although I enjoy some of it, cannot wait to get out and go to Uni.
I dont really know what to say. I write stories mostly, and sometime the odd poem. Most of my stories are kind of depressing, mainly ending in suicides or murders... or both. I dont know, I very rarely seem to be able to write a happy story, and when I do they are just so cheesy I throw them away. My friends seem to think that my stories reflect lots of my own feelings (probably why they think im still depressed) and tell me they are good, but Im not so sure. I enjoy writing my stories, mostly because I get lost in them for a few hours while i write them. They tend to be rather random, and most of them start almost half way through a story, but thats just my style. I like to think my stories make readers want to read on to find out what happens, but then again im not so sure they do.
I have been through some really rough times, probably explaining some of the more depressing stories about girls killing themselves. It has helped me get through some of it by writing stories. People can get through things like depression. Not saying that I have yet, but Im getting there. It's hard, and takes a lot of work, and I have been knocked down again more than once, but it helps to take out your feelings with a pen on a piece of paper, rather than a knife on your skin.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do writing them, and if they make you cry or feel any emotion whatsoever, please comment. I am very ready to take constructive critisism and hope that it will make my writing better.

Looking up at the sky she closed her eyes again, opening them slowly and trying to focus. Shaking her head she wiggled her fingers and checked that nothing was broken. Surprisi3100 words, 38 comments, March 27, 2006. In Fiction, Starting idea

Muscles moving in time, -
I never realised how much it means,
to have a guy who does all those simple little things,
