My name is Kelly, I'm from the Philadelphia area. I have two main passions in life, music - rock - and writing - typically YA fantasy with a bit of romance thrown in. I like to think of myself as an open, honest, fun, sarcastic person, though I'm sure there are those who would just describe me as annoying lol.


Some facts about me:

I try to comment on at least a few stories every day, and love to get commemts in turn. Though currently, my internet access is limited and I may not get to comment as often as I'd like to. When I do get to comment, I try to edit what I read. Don't take this personally, a lot of great writers make editing mistakes.

I am a bookworm. My weakness is YA fantasy with romance (I know its cliche, but idc), most especially the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. Other books I love are;

*The Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan

*Kushiel's Legacy by Jacqueline Carey, most especially the first three

*Sweep by Cate Tiernan

*Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

and many others that I can't think of right now.


I am in love with my insanity. My mind is a jumble of lucidity and insanity that even I cant pick apart sometimes.

I love to laugh.

I hate arrogance, so unattractive.

I am a music junkie and cant go a single day without getting my dose of electric guitars and gritty vocals. Bands I'm currently obsessed with are;

*The Used (their new album is their best since their self titled)

*OTEP

*The Exies

*Pink (not a band but she's awesome)

*Bullet For My Valentine

*Within Temptation

There are countless others but it would take way too much space to list them all.


I consider myself a good writer, though nowhere near some of the talent on this site. I hope to get better and greatly appreciate any and all comments. Feel free to be constructive, just know the difference between constructive criticism and just being an ass.

I am a reformed tomboy who still has a soft spot for sweats, jeans and tee shirts.

I can get along with pretty much anybody.

I am listening to Alanis Morisette as I type this (just a little random info there).

I am an optimistic pessimist, a pessimistic optimist.

I may seem perky by what you've read, which I can definitely be at times, but take the time to get to know me and you'll find that there's much more to me than meets the eyes.
