Work: In 2008 I qualified as a Child and Adolescent Counsellor and work most days for a charity supporting young people. I also have my own website providing confidential online support to young people under 18, anywhere in the world, who need to talk to someone.

Hobbies: When I'm not working I love to write. I also have two little dogs who are my babies! I'm often found running along the beach throwing sticks or lost in the world of my iPod

Writing: I enjoy writing both stories and poetry and write about whatever comes to mind. I tend to write a lot of things about real life, growing up, some may say sad and depressing. A lot of my work may seem slightly emo but it's just what I'm better at writing; not a real reflection of me as a person. Perhaps it is because of the work that I do, so it helps me express a lot of the sadness young people talk to me about. However, every so often I will try and sink my teeth into a completely different genre and give myself a challenge!

I've been told that brevity is the essence of my writings and I have to agree. I like to keep things simple!

I enjoy reading anything that makes me think. Challenges my views. Has a deep meaning hidden in there. I'm a deep thinker which is why I love the work I do so much. I enjoy reading anything that stirs emotions in me, whatever they may be.

Amy Lee has the most awesome voice. I'll be sure and check out some more of your writing soon. I'm so tired tonight that after I finish this one story I already have pulled up I think I'll head to bed for a few hours.

    Hmm...Do you know that contest your holding? I want to enter,but can't. I have a dsi,and the word limit on that is 0-300. But I should be able to write longer storys soon. Sometimes my dad & sister will let me on theirs. My mom's is in the garage.
