I have enjoyed being a member of storywrite. My thoughts have been broadened somewhat but I still remain true to my core beliefs and favored genre.
My favorites being fantasy first and foremost, followed by fantasy mixed with sci-fi. I used to like sci-fi plain but hmmm just haven't been able to complete a whole book. I have picked up Enders Game and will read the series through. I just need to make myself stay off of the computer!
I am a mother of six boys and two girls. My oldest daughter has two boys and one girl...so I am getting old here. But my favorite reading and writing is focused on young adult and some teen fiction.
I do like Twilight but I also loved the Host.
I love Robert Jordan, Tad Williams and Michael Moorcock.
I also like fairy tale writers like Robin McKinley
