Well, hello there, everypeoples. I'm the Homestar Ru--no. Wait. I'm Matthew Maldonado, an author with a surprisingly bright and cheery mind, considering my fictional output.
I'm presently writing a horror sci-fi fantasy surrealist pseudo-biographical smorgasborg of a clusterfuck of a novel. The first part of it is up, but until I get a gold membership, I'm not going to put up the full 254,000+ (so far) words; StoryWrite is a real pain in the ass when it comes to formatting.
I'm influenced by a lot of things, including existentialism, history, psychology, and mythology--and a loooot of entertainment. So, out of whimsy, I have decided to provide a list of my all-time favorite and most influential movies, music, books, and video games.
Movies:
Memento
Donnie Darko
Pulp Fiction
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Grave of the Fireflies
Return to Oz
The Dark Knight
Music:
The White Stripes
The Blood Brothers
Akira Yamaoka
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Jimi Hendrix
Sunna
E.S. Posthumus
Books:
IT
Wicked
Kingdom Come
Jurassic Park
The Talisman
Foundation and Earth
Oedpius Rex
Video Games:

Silent Hill
Super Metroid
BioShock
Resident Evil (GameCube Remake)
