The pen is mightier than the sword.
Hey! Welcome to my profile. I'm not very social right now and i can't post on the boards [On the order's of my mom] Please call me Amaya(meaning night rain in Japanese) or Teresa.
I am like totally obssesed with anime/manga[namely Inuyasha and Bleach] all things magical and mysterious and hate it when people hover over me when i write[resulting in the long slow turnof the head to face them with eyes that could burn a hole in the wall and asking "why are you hovering"] Anyway.
I write lots of stories that never get posted on here. It's a habit I have.
I'm a pretty basic person. Not much about me. [other than the fact I normally fear one or more of my fictional characters. Alas. Tis my fate.]
Neither of the before mentioned names are my real name. But until such a time as I am a world famous writer, I shall be called Amaya or Teresa.
On the subject of my seemingly irrational fear of fictional characters... If you met some of them, you would carry a pocketknife to bed with you. Other than the fact that I have always carried a pocketknife to bed...well yeah I guess you can see that some of the characters are pretty....disturbing. Heh. Actually they're beyond disturbing....to me they're terrifying. (briefly mutters about one of her books.)
My personality might seem goth or depressing at times, but i'm not. Or am I? I really have no clue. Would you describe goth as someone who dotes on death and writes about it (which...by the way...led to a very funny moment in English class....one that convinced my classmates that I am goth...) or even as someone who distances herself from people because they stare at her if she states something that has the word death, decapitation (though I'm not sure that most of the students at my school are smart enough to know what decapitation means), or mutilatrion? I really have no clue.
As is plainly obvious....I often babble. A LOT. So be warned when I start to drone on and on.
I Love Rent. Rent is good. Rent shall set us free.

I was screaming. That's the first thing I remember. The sounds of my shrieks. They were of pain and terror, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm not entirely sure where this story starts, with my shrieks or with me waking up1200 words, July 24

whichcraft : Welcome to Storywrite! on March 11Hi and welcome. As you can see, the users on Storywrite are excited about being a member.
My Username is Whichcraft but I go by Jenn in my circle of friends. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.
You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the membership expires.
I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
Along with a new members group we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any subject. http://storywrite.com/contest/3978
It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a place to make new friends and get helpful critiques. I have included below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site.
There are some very helpful and entertaining columns on the home page. One in particular is fun things to do around Storywrite http://storywrite.com/column/show/161
To find all the emoticons: http://storywrite.com/column/show/53
Chatterbox conduct: http://storywrite.com/column/show/57
Trolls or Cyberbullies: http://storywrite.com/column/show/151
On the right hand side of the page is where you’ll find all you need to edit your stories, change your user info, change your picture, etc. Thank you for joining the StoryWrite web community. Have fun and keep writing.
