Mad-HatterShow stories

I am the Mad-Hatter.

I can bring you into the world of the insane, and the desperate.
I can show you a character so miserable that you smile to yourself, for I know that it is within human nature to enjoy the suffering of others.
I can bring you into the ordeals of people who are different, and make you forget your own problems, if only for a bit.
I can make you wonder, sometimes wander, and, perhaps worst of all, I can make you think for yourself, challenging your beliefs on right and wrong.
I can make you laugh, cry, gasp in shock, or pound your fist in anger. I can justify a man's suicide and show you the mindset of a mentalward patient.

I can do these things, and more.

This is the world of the mad. Where things like rationality and morality are thrown out, because in the end, they're overrated; chosen by society and accepted by the masses. This is where a new world- a new life- can emerge, only to disappear as soon as you close the page.
This is where madness is common and psychosis is accepted. This is my world. Enjoy your stay.

Hey I don't know if I ever told you, but the first story of mine you commented on, Whispers, ended up winning a national award in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, a contest for high school students. I couldn't remember if I told you that or not. I wanted to thank you for you thorough critique of my story, the grammatical errors you pointed out, and reccomending that I publish the story. It should be published in one of the books the contest prints..anyways thanks so much for giving me confindence in that story
