Bonjour!
Obviously, I'm L.A. Klaus, a somewhat-morbid 18-year-old who aspires to someday be a bestselling author (then again, I think that's a hope for many people on this site). I am influenced by a variety of authors, movies, books, shows, and topics.
Some of my favorite authors include Stephen King, Dean Koontz, JK Rowling, Peter Straub, HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, and Anne Rule. I believe Stephenie Meyer's Twilight is dreck, but I have a lot of friends who adore it thus I put up with it. I read a lot of different stuff, though when writing I usually veer toward action/adventure, fantasy, pseudo-scifi, dramatic kind of stuff. I love taking fairytales and twisting them (leaning more toward the Grimm Tales aspect than the Disney one), but I can be a softie sometimes, too.
