Hey, look, we made it to the long description! So, where were we? Oh, yes...

I am of the female persuasion, live in Georgia, have a four-year-old son who is brilliant and bedevils me all in one go, and three cats who conspire with him.

I am a musician (www.MySpace.com/SpiralRhythm) or (www.spiralrhythm.net), both singer and songwriter. I sing for my own sake, and am lucky enough to have one or two people interested in hearing me.

I write poetry, and sometimes manage to be published (but not often, and not recently).

I write stories. Long ones. Please note, I have not said that I FINISH stories. Yet. Nor have I said they are good. Yet. If ever. C'est la vie.

I am married, but it's been looking grim, lately. Eh, we all have our little tragedies.

My favorite book is whatever I am reading right now, although Flynn Connolly's "The Rising of the Moon" is near the top of the list, as are Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" and Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land" and "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress." Also, Starhawk's "The Fifth Sacred Thing", and Douglas Adams "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" and "The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul". Also, I have lately been enjoying Simon R. Green's Nightside series, and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, as well as authors Lori Foster and Janet Evanovich and...see why I don't have a favorite?

My favorite color is blue.

Want to know what I look like? Too bad. I am shy and have no self confidence. And yet, I am a performer. Go figure. I haven't cracked a mirror, anyway.
