The truth….
Two simple words that tend to be so complicated. They say that the truth is always best, but sometimes the truth hurts worse than the lies themselves.

As a compulsive liar I don’t know the truth from a lie. I convince myself of the lie and in turn convince everyone else. It has worked out for almost 16 years. That is until I found someone who was just like me and felt the pain that I had put others through.

I’m never sure what to do around her….when she smiles I can’t help but smile back. When she laughs I grin and try to make her laugh again. I’d do anything for her and yet….I hurt her everyday.
