I've been writing non-academically since 6th grade, when I wrote my first fantasy story, for no reason but to write a story, called Dalmanacca. Since then, I've been writing off and on, mostly fantasy but also horror and nonfiction essays, lots of poems, and a hodgepodge of lyrics/songs. My longest project I've been working on for eight years now, and still haven't gotten it any where near finished, working order.
