The question of self cannot be answered with simple words upon a page. A name is more then a scramble of letters that form sounds. The existence of one's life is more then the rhythmic beats of a heart. While I cannot explain to you who I am, as such a feat is impossible for any person, I can tell you a little about me.
I have sat, used, and lived at this same desk for a chunk of my life, each wooden grain more familiar to me then any "home" I have lived in. My single talent, gift of existence, is writing and narrating. The tail of my patchy cat flickers across the keyboard much as my fingers do when I write, my companion when traveling the boundaries of thought and words. I spend time with friends, associates, people who know my secrets. My younger sisters, a source of my annoyance and inspiration, often peek into my room just to see "what's up". My parents give me reassurance into my talents of literature, but also challenge me always to do better.
I don't think it really matters what I look like; size, gender, or age having no influence onto my works. I believe judgment (especially in a place where only word creates reality) should be based upon skills and personality. At least, I would like to assure myself that is all that matters in the world of literature.
I love pocky, stories before bed, reality tv, soap operas (especially of the vampire kind), rock, classical music, japanese animation, virtual worlds of fantasy, doves, my two cats, my lovely Angel, pen stained hands, smell of coffee, fragile tea sets, glassy water, black bound journals, rain settled on a dim street, freshly picked jasmine, salsa on anything and everything, and kisses that taste lightly of peach.
I hate most dogs, the taste of coffee, artificial light, hot weather, disorganized things/places, most rap, most american pop, instant romen, overly crowded places, and cheese.

My feet moved rhythmically beneath me, muscles pumping, and adrenaline going. The small black pathway only a couple yards long was the race of a life time, my race. At the end of my race was what really mattered, the small wo2100 words, 1 comment, August 5. In Dreams

SageSyren : Welcome to SW on June 18Hi
K.Tangent;
Welcome to the StoryWrite website!
My username is SageSyren but most people just call me Syren or Brooke. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write and hopefully become a published author sometime in the future. It is also a place to sharpen your writing skills and display your creativity while being in a fun environment!
You will notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After approximately three days the gold membership expires, so take the opportunity to see all that our site offers to you.
We have a new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
Along with a new members group, we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any new member. http://storywrite.com/contest/5074
It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a great place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.
I have included below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site. One in particular is fun things to do around Storywrite: http://storywrite.com/column/show/161
To find all the emoticons : http://storywrite.com/column/show/53
Chatterbox conduct: http://storywrite.com/column/show/57
Trolls or Cyberbullies: http://storywrite.com/column/show/151
Don’t forget to read the Storywrite Rules : http://storywrite.com/home/guide/rules
On the right hand side of the page is where you’ll find all you need to edit your stories, change your user info, change your picture, etc. Thank you for joining the StoryWrite web community. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Have fun and keep writing!
