Dear Friend,
Today, I found this little heart shaped box. It was a maroon color tied with a pretty silver lace ribbon. It had this shine on it, and not the kind of shine where it was bright like a star, not that kind of shine, no. It was the kind of shine where if you looked really closely, the beauty in it would fade in. I tried showing it to best friend but she couldn't see it, so I kept it secret and she didn't tell anyone.

I didn't show it to my mom or dad either. I just hid it in my back pack, careful to not ruin it, and ran right up to my room. I didn't want to open it, because I was afraid it wouldn't shine anymore, so I just kept the pretty little ribbon on it. And it's still shining on.

We all wish that our dreams, fantasies...and all of our wishes could come true. Sometimes we get what we want. But other times...we don't. And sometimes our dreams and wishes lead to a disaster and it keeps on happening over and over again. And then we regret ever wishing for them.

And then when all of that stops, another mistake happens again in a blink of an eye. And everything flies by so fast, you can't keep up. And then you finally realize that nothing is ever going to be 'okay'. And when everything is, you just screw it up again. Or you think you screwed it up, and you can't be convinced otherwise by your friends or family.




If you can't stand the way this place this,
Take yourself to [[higher]] places.

Life is life. If you can't handle it, go get another one.

It's a lot easier to be lost than found. It's the reason we're always searching and rarely discovered. So many locks, not enough keys.

{!Happiness!} is an unexpected (hug).

Mistakes are over-rated. So why is it so easy to make one?

I tend to apologize endlessly.

Close your eyes.

Let it go.
