Hello! The name I usually use online is Glowstarcharmer but my real name is Amber. I am a psychology student from Essex in merry old England. I am 21 years old, my birthday is 14th October.

I love reading and writing. I write mostly poetry although I have written a few short stories. I like to read fantasy, and would probably have to say my favourite authors are Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman, writers of the 'Dragonlance' books because how could anyone not love the people who gave the world Raistlin Majere! Raistlin is my all time hero, my golden idol! My poem 'Golden Eyes' is a tribute to him.

I'm into films as well. I like quirky films and my favourite director is with out a doubt Tim Burton, I love the dark twists most of his films have and the way in which he uses colour. I don't really have a favourite film of all time but if I had to choose I would probably say 'Labyrinth'(directed by Jim Henson). Its one of those films I watched again and again as a kid and I still love it to this day.

I live with two guys who are both studying computer stuff (I would call them geeks but who am I to talk), so its good to have somewhere where I can discuss writing rather than computer games.

My moto in life is that I love everyone untill proven otherwise so if you want to be friends with me I will enjoy getting to know you. I always give constructive critisim on peoples work and I appriciate peoples honest oppinions on my work.

My daddy is also a member on this site. His username is Tomereader, although his real name is Bill. Please give his work a read, he is an excelent writer and reader, and Im not just saying that cos Im his little girl (yes, even at 21 Im still considered his little girl, lol) he genuinly is!

My best friend Rebecca is also a member on this site now. Her user name is Shimmerfairy. She writes fantasy stuff and her work is brilliant. We have been sharing our writing since we were kids and it is well worth looking her stuff up.
