Stories are me and I am stories. I exist only in the words. Where there are words there I am. I am the ink on the paper, I am the pixels that form the letters on your computer screen. I am imagination. I am the truth in the lie. I am ... actually I´m just some guy located on a small island in some big sea. Oh, and I like stories.
Let´s see ... in the interest of putting something up here that actually tells you something (however little) about me, here are my current favorite TV shows:
House
Smallville
Pushing Daisies
Chuck
Prison break
Dexter
Heroes
One Tree Hill
Supernatural
Bones
Life
I have to add two more that are not currently running, but definitely belong in my all-time favorites. Namely Buffy and Angel.
If you want to message me, or add me as a friend, go right ahead. That doesn´t mean I promise to respond, be polite, accept, not to try (or try) to be funny, or be fun, wrong, right, orange or black. Or that I exist at all in the physical or nonphysical sense. But ... do go ahead. I like messages. Maybe.
Oh yeah, about my writing here. I will probably post exclusively stand-alone short stories. I like series, and I´ve tried to do them in the past - not on this site obviously - but I usually lose interest if I do them without planning them from start to finish, which takes a lot of time. So ... just short stories for now.
And there ya go. I´ll add things as I think of them.

My Username is -Syren- and everyone on the site simply calls me Brooke. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.

I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site.
