Just a tad bit of cliche, but I liked how it turned out. -
Inspired, I have been inspired by the dark echos down a school hallway. It sounded like multiple lost souls, whispering and softly moaning through the echo of the walk.1

You know, as with each passing year, I, along with about everyone who doesn't have life handed to them on a silver plate, have gone through a lot of stupid shit.
