Alrighty, well my name's Dylan and I live in good old Kentucky in a pretty small town that doesn't have a whole lot to do... Oh well, one more year and I'm OUT of here.
My writing is mostly influenced through fantasy. If you read my writing, you'll likely find a little bit of everything. Greek Mythology is my absolute favorite type of fantasy, seeing as how it has influenced so much of today's writing. Here's a list of a few of my favorite authors and the books they're best known for (check them out if you've never read them):
1. Brian Jacques (Redwall series)
2. R.A. Salvatore (The Legend of Drizzt series)
3. Robert Jordan (The Wheel of Time series)
4. J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings)
God is first and formost in my life, and I try to serve Him as best I can, though it's not always happened I'm ashamed to say... I want to be a Minister and a writer when I graduate because that's just what I feel called to do.
My taste is music has changed dramatically over the last year or so. It's gone from pure classic rock to a wider variety, though heavier rock has been my favorite. Even if my taste of music changes, The Eagles are STILL the best group out there. Here's a list of a few of my tops:
1. The Eagles
2. Boston
3. Ozzy Osbourne
4. Linkin Park
5. Disturbed
6. Skillet
7. Def Leppard
8. Guns N' Roses
9. Nickelback
YOu know when you're reading and you just find a charcter or two that just stick in your mind forever and ever? Well, these characters have ALL stuck with me as soon as they were introduced in their respective novels:
1. Drizzt Do'Urden/Artemis Entreri (Legend of Drizzt)
2. Rand Al'Thor/Mat Cauthon (The Wheel of Time)
3. Martin the Warrior/Gonff the Mousethief (Redwall)
4. Gollum/Legolas (Lord of the Rings)
Well, I guess that's just about it about me... Pretty boring. By the way, if you ever find a Crimson12100 anywhere on the internet, chances are it's me... If you want to know more just message me or something.
