Describe myself? What a bore!
Where to start? That I like to help with Standard Grammar. Just ask!
Far older than I expected to be, by almost twenty years? Waiting for 36-hour days to be invented to get done all that needs doing? Living on pension in a granny flat (two rooms and big back yard on a 400-mile navigable river,) but counting pennies? A long list of health problems? Rich in friends and love of Family--and two cats. After successful surgeries, no longer on wheels! At last, something worth saying!
In 2004 a few kind folks already knew me as DeeCrepit but really now that I do not even need a cane, the name does not fit as well...so I added Terry-too as a working identity.
Bored yet? If not, I'll keep trying to anesthesize.
Now that no one is reading I started full-time classroom teaching in 1950, and during fourteen summers before 1971 at U of Toronto, earned a BA in French and Masters in Education. After teaching at all levels, and rearing four kids of my own, I retired in 1995 at sixty-five, "when the brain dies."
I have a large collection of mediocre poems in AP and SP and a few worth reading. My website contains a 34-chapter novel waiting for its final edit here with you, and the first nine chapters of an industrial/murder novel not ready yet to be shared here. Hidden on browning paper in many 3-ring notebooks hides a huge multi-generational saga no one will see. Those fourteen hundred-forty single-spaced pages written on a Commodore 64 have enough for several more novels. Remember I had a long head-start on anyone here.
Wake up! It's done. I am here to help.

DeeCrepit : An Experiment on June 22, 2008Please? I need help placing this at the top of "My Page." It can stay there. Checking the source-code, the image I want is
in http://www.mattaweb.ca/archive0/tabmenu.htm
[ My cartoon hand drew my left hand in 1998 -not an original concept in that a rather famous artist had published surrealism like this, distortions of perspective and other impossibilities. I have been trying to remember his name. ]
Similarly mine becomes a visual metaphor for the lack of importance of an author relative to something written that may live forever.
Thanks,
Terry
