I am a 36 year old woman from Scotland now living in the Netherlands. My twin sis and I had always the same interests as children. We were always imaginery play acting with our dolls/teddies, making stories and recording them on tape, drawing pictures and playing the piano/keyboards.
Nowadays I am more into singing and recording my own music with my midi keyboard and computer. When I am not doing that I like to glass paint, sculpting, cooking, walking, cycling and now a new hobby 'story writing' thanks to my new dutch family giving me encouragement to do so.
The reason I started story writing was that I have read so many dutch fairytales (sprookjes) and when I go to sleep at night I have dreams that I can still remember the next day and I scribble down notes immediately. I have told a few of them to my dutch family and fiance and they thought I would be good at writing children's stories and so here I am.
I hope all you readers enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
