My life really revolves around one person only, and you should know from the start that her name is Karesse Wilkey. I love her with all my heart and I love her interest in my writing. She is one of my main inspirations as a writer. Also on that list is a man by the name of Chuck Palahniuk, author of many books such as Fight Club, Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Haunted, Lullaby, Snuff, I could go on but these are the ones I have read. I would recommend any of them to you and all of your friends.
But what about me? Hmmm...
Well, I'm a lover of independent films and I love a good movie that will make you watch it over and over just to make sure you soaked up every single detail. A good psychotic movie makes my day, But I love a good comedy or romance too.
In my spare time, I absolutely love to sit in the middle of a large crowd with a pencil and pad of paper, and write down what other people do. Taking these observations, It's so easy to write short stories.
For example, I saw this girl in Hot Topic one time and she picked up something, then quickly jerked away from it. For some reason it made me think of a touch-know psychic and how they get the history behind random objects they come into contact with. Well, after a few days of thinking, i put the psychic in a funeral home working as an embalmer, and viola, i had the basis for my newest book project called Forge. I look to be posting the chapters on here as i complete them. I'm just finishing the editing to the first and i'll be honest, i have no idea where i want the story line to go.
Suggestions?
Well I'm a man of many colors, and many voices and emotions. I'm deeper than you'd guess and i love to talk about a number of different subjects.
My mom always told me, It's better to know a little about everything than alot about one thing.
And I live by that and one other thing.
As said by Chuck himself, "The goal in life isn't to live forever, it's to create something that will."

whichcraft : Welcome to SW! on July 15, 2008Hi, Schacherbauer. I am a greeter and wish to welcome you to the StoryWrite website!

My username is whichcraft but most people just call me Jenn in my circle of friends. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write and hopefully become a published author sometime in the future. It is also a place to sharpen your writing skills and display your creativity while being in a fun environment!
You will notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After approximately three days the gold membership expires, so take the opportunity to see all that our site offers to you.
We have a new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
Along with a new members group, we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any new member. http://storywrite.com/contest/show/5412
It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a great place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.
I have included below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site. One in particular is fun things to do around Storywrite: http://storywrite.com/column/show/161

Chatterbox conduct: http://storywrite.com/column/show/57
