Hey, Those Who Write.
This is BrideOfTheFairyKing. If that's too much for you then you can call me by my fairy name, Tiste (pronounced Tee-stay).
Yes, fairies do exist. In my world.
But they are not those strange, wiggling little creatures we like to imagine. Some don't even have wings, they don't dwell in the belly of a buttercup or inside a rose hip. They don't wisp about in jewels and feathers, granting wishes left and right.
There have been many accounts of the fair folk over the years, from the stone age to modern times. They have been portrayed in many different ways.
But these are my personal fairies, the world I create for them, the world in which almost nothing is what you'd expect, and hell, I don't expect most of the things I write.
I would like you to watch this world grow, if you will. I would most appreciate it.

Now you are wondering why I call myself the BrideOfTheFairyKing?
I'm not his real bride, obviously. I'm not nearly pretty enough for that, or graceful or talented.
And obviously, this is all utter nonsense, the imagination of a bored girl coming to life on a web page.
But this is something I want to work on. Something I want to grow, like one would nurture a baby seedling to a sprout.
I will create this world.
I will watch it grow.
