My name is Brittany. I am not my own. Who is? Everybody can think they belong only to themselves, but everybody, every single person on this earth, belongs to God. We were bought with the blood of Christ!
Isn't that amazing?! Isn't it so amazing that God sent His only Son to die for US?! We sure don't deserve it. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23).
I know I've sinned. Duh. Plenty of times. I've gone through so many things. We've done a lot, gone through a lot. I've suffered. Who hasn't? Psalms 55, verse 22, says, "Cast your cares upon the Lord and He will sustain you."
So, that's what I've done. I've started anew, fresh. Oh, yeah, I've been Saved and baptized. I even re-dedicated my life to the Lord last year at church camp! But it's different now. All of that lasted a day or two, maybe a week at the most, and never produce such a fire under my butt!
I've decided to re-re-dedicate my life to God. And... it's never felt better! I love the Lord! He died for me! You can read that in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and a bunch of other places in the most truthful works of all time: the Bible!
Do I regret my past? No. I believe God uses our pasts to do His Will. Things that have happened to me can and will be used to witness, minister, testify, to people.
Yeah, I still love cheering, dancing, reading, writing, etc. I just LOVE God!
