Meef... My name is... many things but mostly I prefer to be called Atticus or by my real name, Savannah, or Atti... Something along those lines. I'm a theatre junkie, a junk foodie, a book addict, an all around easy going girl who hates secrets but loooves to get in on them, a proud bisexual (my mother told me when I came out that if I wanted to "wave my flag or whatever you do" it's cool with her. I love my mom), a mamma's baby, a dog mother (times two!), a vegetarian, a bed potato (man I love my bed...).
I love storywrite. I think it's a great way for me to get inspired and get critique. I hold contests constantly. Usually I'll hold one and when that one is done I hold another. I think they are fun. Plus they are excellent outlets for critique so I'm usually lurking around looking for a suitable contest for a new piece. I always speak my mind about a piece so don't get too offended.
Some of you might have noticed that in the next few paragraphs I would have information about my projects. I have decided to drop all current projects to focus on When Frankfurt Cried, which I plan to have finished (or the first draft anyway) by December of this year. I've got two chapters complete, plus the prelude and a half chapter. However, the prelude might not be included, and the first two chapters must be completely re-written while more must be added to one of the two chapters I've already "completed."
While I will be focusing on this, I will still be running and entering contests so I'll still have new posts, non-WFC related, but most of them will not be in a series of any kind. Also, I have been given a task by my lovely friend The Wild Child, to write her a novella involving, kidnapping, domestic violence, and one strange friendship. It doesn't have a title as of yet, but that's okay. That all comes later.
I write a lot about same-sex couples. I can identify more with them. However, I can write about heterosexual couples. But the sexes of my characters shouldn't bother anyone, should it?
I am an agnostic American student with a mind and spirit of someone beyond her years. If you have a question or just want to drop in an say hi, you know what to do!
But anyway, I'm sixteen, I love music, poetry, books, theatre, and language. I'm pretty easy to get along with.
I'm out of school now, which I'm not too happy about since I no longer have my job and I have to have money to Columbus like I try to do and, you know, use my car... Mixed emotions about school right now.... And summer....
Recently I have been trying to be a bit more daring.
On May 9, 2009, I left my phone number on a napkin for a waiter at a restaurant. Today, he hasn't called me.
I NEED SOMETHING NEW TO READ!!!! WAAAHHH! Ahem.
I recently picked up a DeathNote and it was amazing. I didn't get the first one (I read it in the store) but I now have all of them!!! Muahahahahaha!
I fear I'm turning into a fangirl! I love to read manga so if you have any suggestions, please let me know (I especially love YAOI!).

1. Death Note*
2. Steal Moon**
3. To Kill a Mockingbird

KodyBoye on June 28I've never seen NCIS, though I did look it up on Wikipedia. I can kinda/sorta get the 'oh' thing, but... not really, haha.
As to my published works (and why a lot of people on StoryWrite aren't published,) it's because I've pushed myself in order to be the best I can be. I've been driven to pursue writing as more than a hobby since I was quite young (around... nine, or something.) My first short was accepted when I was fouteen, then published when I was fifteen. I just think people don't put enough effort into submitting, etc.
Thanks for dropping by, Aelphaba.

Mrose23 : Hi! on May 25I saw your name on one of the groups I'm in. I'm also bi, and I have a question about your screen-name. Does it refer to Wicked and To Kill A Mockingbird? Because that's one of my favorite plays, and my all-time favorite book!
Nice to find an ally,
-Mrose23
