Since I was about ten years old, I've been obsessed with writing. I always wrote simple short stories at first, and then as I grew older I began writing more thoughtful things.
My desire to write only intensified after the death of my mother when I was 13. Because of her death, I had to become an instant adult, and I matured much faster mentally then a young woman of my age normally would. So I would escape into writing and try my best to live out my most wished teen dramas and romances. I write out the experiences I was never really able to go through. Because of this, most to all of my writings, including my poetry, is aimed toward the Young Adult audience.
I love writing for Young Adults. I love giving young women, and occasionally, the young men who find my writing interesting; both intriguing and typical teen literature to indulge in. In my opinion, there really isn't a better feeling around, that can beat knowing that someone, somewhere, read your writings and felt joy, or found inspiration from reading it.
I hope to continue to become a better writer and hopefully one day write a wonderful novel and get my name in the hearts of Young Adults everywhere.
