Hey,
My name is Lauren, and I am 12, in seventh grade, turning 13 in October 2010. I live in British Columbia, Canada. I love writing and reading, and did since a very young age. I write lots of poetry, but most of it is on another art website. I'm working on posting it on here. I love talking, laughing, and riding horses.
I have a twin brother named Luke who is one minute older than me, and a little sister who is 9. I have a German Shepherd named Gracie, who is an ex-bomb sniffer, and I had I hamster, who recently passed away. But, now, I am vying for a rabbit. XD I love horses too, and ride as much as I can.
Music is also one of my passions, and I play guitar, clarinet, and piano. I am more of a poetry girl, but I am also writing a novel, with two of my great friends... it's a collaberative.. (It's posted on here, I keep adding to it.) I hope one day, if something totally amazing happens, there will be a chance that it or one of my poems can be published.
I know it sounds girly and cushy, but I do synchronized swimming, and I am going to the USA next year to compete against a all of North America competition. It's hard work, but really fun.
I'm really involved with leadership and social work, and I want to go to Kenya to build a school when I am older. I met Craig Kielburger and attended We Day too.
I am really interested in biology too, and aspire to be either a writer, marine biologist, or vet. I am glad to talk to you and would love if you checked out my writing. I'll be happy to chat. :-)

So, the Olympics are coming to me town, Vancouver very soon. The countdown is onnnn. Anyway, going to watch the torch come through tomorrow, at like 6 AM lol.
