My name is Preston... I also go by names such as Romeo, Rom, Silver, or P... Pick one that you like, and stick with it, or interchange them if you like, I'll answer to them all...
I live in the State of Illinois, in the United States, in the Greater St. Louis Area, living right across the Mississipi River from the City. I am 20 years old, and have just as many hopes and dreams as the next young man or woman, and presume no significance above them...
I've been told I've a poetic soul, though I feel I'm just another person wending my way through the world... Nothing makes me particularly special, at least, not in my own eyes. Others may tell you differently.
You will learn; that I am blunt.
You will learn; that I do not tolerate ignorance, especially from those who have far more potential than they are exhibiting.
You will learn; that I speak my mind, and have no qualms about doing so.
You will learn; that I will be a friend to whoever needs one.
You will learn; that I care, maybe a little too much.
You will learn... that I indeed live up to the name Romeo.
I'm just here to make some friends, talk to people, whine about life, offer a helping hand to others with the things which they whine about, and, ultimately; To further my own Literary works, which range from Poetic works to Novels to Poetic Prose... I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do myself... I take Pride in them, but have no fear in picking them apart... It only helps me to better myself, and if I did not want you to read them and criticize or praise... I would not post them.
I'm a very focused writer, and while I may write things here or there, or simply post things that I wrote on a whim, for the most part, if you enjoy my work, you will have to wait to see them, as I focus on my Novels, making them the very best quality for myself, and any fans I may gather... Poems typically are what will come out sporadically, rather than new story ideas, though an occasional short story may well be born.
I'm Currently focused on two novels; Light-Shift, and When Man has Fallen...
Light-Shift, I have been working on since I was 14 years old, and has come a long way, making almost as many changes as are told of in the story...
When Man has Fallen, is rather new, and actually was spawned right here on Story-Write, and has all the vigor and strength of a new life, taking me in new directions with my writing, and has quickly become my main Focus and my baby, so to speak... It quickly replaced Light-Shift! Noting on that, I hope I don't play favorites with my kids! Lol.
