Describe myself? Sure. I'll go for the listy thing I've seen a lot:
-This account I have prepared mainly for my small cousin Amadea. She has no access to internet, so she sends me stories in letters, I put them up, and when we talk on the phone, I tell her what people say. It's mostly her.
-My little brother Rhodd says maybe he'll want to put up something too eventually. In between letters, (mail's slow between Quebec and Washington) I'll say whose the story is in authors notes.
-I'll try to read and comment on stories, but I'm not a big commenter, and I can't read a thing with moving pictures and fancy bright colorful bold backgrounds.
-My eyesight's terrible
-I find people fascinating.
-I try to be grammatically correct at all times, but I've never actually taken any sort of class or had any teaching in the terms or fine points, so please tell me if I mess up, and explain why. That, I think, was a run-on sentence.
-I'm albino.
-Ummm...
-I'm short.
-Feel free to ask me questions. I'll do my best to answer them.
-Have a nice day!

CactusJack on January 20, 2008Hi Aesca,
My Username is -CactusJack- and everyone on the site simply calls me Jack. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.
You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the membership expires and you become a regular member.
I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. 1. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
Along with a new members group we have a New Members Contest. http://storywrite.com/contest/3429
