Hi there,
This is my page for obscure ramblings and dark sarcastic thoughts and such.
Occasionally I may even write something.
Many of them are loosely based on thoughts or observations I've had about things going on around me or in the world at large.
But most times I just make shit up. -chuckles-
I live two blocks from the beach and a short bike ride from a large forested state park, so much of my writing either takes place around, or relates to, the ocean or the woods, as I spend a great deal of time outdoors.
I'm Native American so maybe that explains my affinity for spending time in the forest, who knows.
I'm a musician and artist as well and consider writing as another form of artistic release. Indeed sometimes I get inspiration for a poem or short story from a picture or music. Many times it just comes from thoughts I have while taking a walk.
I write poetry in AP as well as stories here in SW.
My writings vary in nature and theme but my favorite genres to read are fantasy and science fiction. Some of my favorite authors are:
-Terry Brooks
-David Eddings
-JRR Tolkien
-Eldon Thompson
-Anne McMaffrey
-Frank Herbert
-Melanie Rawn
Just to name a few.
I've been an avid reader all my life but only recently started writing myself. First poetry and now stories as well. The support and suggestions I've gotten from the many friends I've made on both sites has helped enormously in my growth as a writer and I am thankful to them all.
So thanks for stopping by and I'll see ya around.
~Greg~

SpiritDarkmaiden on May 16Ok first of all, I have to tell you how great your face image is
*wide grin* It's like an evil dove - though I'm sure that's not how you wanted it to be viewed as. But then again I dont usually do or say what others want me to so, whatever.
And, not to get off topic *chuckles* second, your poetry is great, very well written
